What data Cypher Assets keeps about you, why, for how long, and how to have it removed. Last updated 29 September 2026.
01 · What we store
Your Discord user ID, display name and roles; your bootcamp progress, practice results (Backtest Lab, challenges), awards and referrals; tickets and messages you send to our bot; and, for paid programmes, what you bought and when. We do not store your password or payment card details.
02 · Why
To run the community and its features, to track your progress and rewards, to answer support questions, to prevent spam and scams, and to deliver the programmes you paid for (legal basis: contract and legitimate interest).
03 · Where
Data is stored on our hosting provider (Railway) with a backup copy in a managed database. Some AI features send the question you type to an AI provider (OpenAI) to generate an answer; do not type personal data into those features.
04 · How long
As long as you are a member. Lead and contact data is anonymised after 12 months without activity. Payment records are kept as long as the law requires.
05 · Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time. Open a ticket in our Discord with the request; we reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your national data protection authority.
06 · Website
The website uses no advertising or tracking cookies. The daily challenge you play on the website is not linked to you.
